The Black Path was formed in late 2009 in Southern California. The group came together with the collective goal of having a good time. At the same time the band wished to promote a genre of music that they felt had been largely ignored by a large segment of the population. A style that could not only express anger better than any other, but also represent strength, community, pride, and hope. In early 2010 they recorded a six song demo and began playing shows. The rest is yet to come.
