The Bleeding Obvious is the musical project of Yorkshire lass Jessica Rowbottom, an unfocused folder of ideas suddenly achieving pin-sharp clarity. Jess plays most things in the studio, encompassing diversity from descant recorder (favourite of primary school music teachers), bass, acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, a range of keyboards and organs, and modified childrens' toys including a Speak'n'Spell.
