The Cold Stares, from Western Kentucky, originally consisted of guitarist and singer Chris Tapp and drummer Brian Mullins. Chris and Brian were in bands together in their early twenties. A decade later they were asked to open a show for a buddy. They were so adamant that they weren’t going to a band that they didn’t hire a bass player.
