The Definite Articles's 2007 Concert History

The Definite Articles band started in 2006 as an acoustic duo: violin and cello/vocals. Over the past couple of years, the ranks have swelled to include viola, keyboard, bass, and drums. Their style leans towards "indie-classical" -- the same vein as pursued by groups such as The Arcade Fire, Joanna Newsom, and ELO, in which a blending of conventional and classical instruments is executed in a natural way. In May 2008, the band completed their first EP, Boy Wonder, and have just released their first full-length album, King Merriweather.
