The Dugites Concert History

The Dugites were a Perth band formed in the late '70s, named after a brown, venomous snake common in the region. They were part of a movement in Australian pop music, with bands finding that they had a valid creative voice and the musical ability to express that voice. In 1979, they released a self-financed single, 'Hit Single'/'Bruce', toured as a backing band for Dave Warner, and were signed by the now defunct Deluxe label.
