The Educated Guess are a rock and roll band that in 2007 recorded an 18 song double album at Smith/Lee Productions. Their sound is characterized by the collective influence of older artists such as Brian Wilson, Roy Orbison, and Phil Spector, as well as their contemporaries like Wilco, the Arcade Fire, and Ryan Adams. The four piece outfit is currently on their 2008 Midwest Summer Reunion Tour, and will start recording their third album in early August.
