The Expressos were a British power pop/new wave band that released one album, “Promises and Ties,” in 1980. The band’s 60s-inspired melodies and vocalist Rozzi Rayner’s performances were reminiscent of acts such as Blondie and The Pretenders. “Promises and Ties” included four singles - “Tango in Mono,” “Hey Girl,” “Kiss You All Over” and “By Tonight.” Expressos also released a track called “Valentino’s Had Enough” on the soundtrack for the 1980 film, “Monster Club.”...
