The Flatlanders's 2010 Concert History

The Flatlanders is a progressive country-rock band formed in 1972 in Lubbock, Texas by Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Butch Hancock. Though initially the band only last around a year, disbanding in 1973, each of the three members went on to lead a successful solo career. In 1998, they reunited and remained together until 2025 when Joe Ely became the first member to pass away. He died of complications resulting from dementia and pneumonia on December 15, 2025.
