The Get Ahead is an American five-piece retro-soul band from Portland, OR, comprising Juliet Howard (vocals), Nathan Earle (vocals, guitar), Angie Johnson (sax, violin, backing vocals), Sean Farrell (bass), and Danny Johnson (drums). The band self-released "Volcano" in 2010. The album "Deepest Light" was released on Julian Records in 2019.
