As a 4 piece outfit from Miami, The Glasses Otter serve as the antagonist in the technical metal/hardcore genre bender. An unintentional love 'em or hate 'em stigma has followed the band from their local involvment through their handful of tours. Their fast paced music mixes odd timing with fluid grooves using intricate and thoughtful guitar playing ala Botch layered with thick driving bass and backed by complex and intelligent drumming in the vein of Converge.
