The Hairy Nobs Concert History

The Hairy Nobs are a cult alternative band based in Christchurch, New Zealand. They are most well-known for their lyrics, which take on explicitly sexual and, more recently, political issues, ranging from the influence of pop culture to government lobbyists to censorship. They are an unabashedly "fanboy" group, with songs about Bruce Campbell and Star Wars often gracing their live sets. Their lyrics also refer to internet phenomena such as shock sites and message boards. Musically, they alternate between synth-pop, funk and heavy rock.
