The Herb Spectacles present a 21st century mix of South American Tijuana and Mariachi sounds. In the nineteen-sixties this music was popularised by musicians like Chet Baker who did a lot of mariachi music recordings, and of course Herb Alpert, who's Tijuana Brass made this musical style an instant worldwide hit.
