Formed in 1872 by brothers Jim and Jonny Bullivant, the hipps are dead my friend. But don't cry as they have been reborn into a band now known as 'Trigger Cuts' with Tommy Khuda on drums. The band decided to change their name to move away from the indie tag having recorded an EP that sounded nothing like they used to. Trigger Cuts are a post grunge, noise rock band with lots of gnarly guitar, pounding drums and bouncy basslines. Their EP 'Old Confessions' recounts stories of love, hate, sex, violence, drunkenness, mistakes and regrets.
