The Isley Brothers, originating from Cincinnati, Ohio, began as a vocal trio in the late 1950s with brothers O'Kelly, Rudolph, and Ronald Isley. Their journey saw a significant transformation in 1969, with other brothers Ernie and Marvin as well as Chris Jasper joining. By 1989, only Ronald remained with the band. In 1991, Marvin and Ernie returned in 1991. Since Marvin's second departure in 1997, The Isley brothers have continued on as a duo with Ronald and Ernie. Throughout the decades, The Isley Brothers marked the charts with hits like "Summer Breeze," "Fight the Power," "Between the Sheets," "Busted" "Make Me Say It Again, Girl" (featuring Beyoncé), and "Friends and Family" (Featuring Snoop Dogg). In 2023, Rudolph Isley became the second member and first founding member of the Isley Brothers to pass away (Marvin passed away in 2010).
