The Jazztronauts's 2016 Concert History

The Jazztronauts are a Bay Area jazz trio who draw both from traditional jazz influences and other, more eclectic influences such as funk, soul, and hip-hop to create their own unique music. The group consists of keyboardist Max Chanowitz, guitarist/bassist Erik Strand, and drummer Michael Nourafshan. The group's debut album, Space Crisis, was released in May 2008, the group played at Yoshi's jazz club in San Francisco that summer to rave reviews. They are currently on hiatus to pursue other interests.
