KC Weldon and Shea Briggs met as roommates on Chicago’s north side. They are both small town girls at heart, having grown up in villages outside of Birmingham, AL and Indianapolis, IN, respectively. Shea began playing drums at the age of 12 and honed her percussion skills in marching band and drum line. KC started teaching herself guitar as a 16-year-old and has been writing songs ever since. After going through a breakup, Shea needed a new roommate.
