The Malarkeys are a Celtic rock band based in Kelowna, BC, Canada. They debuted on March 17, 2007, and released their first album, "Bloody Brilliant", on March 17, 2010. The band was started by Karl and Gail Hourigan, with keyboardist Lisa Grekul and drummer Ryan Campbell. The lineup changed when Ryan Campbell left the band and was replaced by current drummer Jay Dallamore. Fiddle player Eddie Plotnikoff joined in 2009, and then accordionist Rod Miller joined up in 2010.
