"The Male Nurse" was an on / off Edinburgh band formed by Country Teasers guitarist Alan Crichton and dating from before he joined the Teasers. The Male Nurse were primarily made up of members of Country Teasers with visual artist Keith Farquhar on vocals. The band continued after Crichton left, as detailed in Country Teasers song 'Deaths', recording another Peel session & expanding musically. Their first album remains unreleased.
