Established in Brighton in 2007, The Mariner’s Children are an English folk rock band. The band was founded by multi-instrumentalists Benedict Rubinstein and Daniel Matthews after a chance meeting in Vietnam. The duo returned to Brighton for University and discovered a mutual fondness for revival music (Pentangle, John Fahey, Fairport Convention).
