Self-described "dangerous music" and very much a natural product of Newark and Jersey City. Post-punk American underground apocalyptic dance party Rock and Roll. The Meltdowns are celebrating the release of their new EP. No Authority Direction, or Control was recorded during the Summer and Fall of 2007 at Hypersnakes in Edison, NJ with the precocious Daniel Schlett (tracks 1, 3, 4 and 6 - with an assist by the cantankerous Carson Kopp) and at Temple of Tuneage in Verona, NJ with the venerable Gerry Griffin IV (tracks 2 and 5).
