The Monkees's 1996 Concert History

The Monkees was an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1960s. The band consisted of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork. Spurred by the success of The Monkees television series, they were one of the most successful bands of the late 1960s. The band produced four chart-topping albums and three chart-topping songs ("Last Train to Clarksville", "I'm a Believer", and "Daydream Believer").

How do I add a show? This site is SO incomplete. APRIL 12 1969 Charleston WV

Feb 14, 2024

The October 26, 1986 date isn't listed. Took place in Ruston,
Louisiana at Louisiana Tech University with Herman's Hermits, Gary Puckett, and Grass Roots. An old friend and I attended. Even snapped a few pictures with my old "trusty" Kodak 110 Instamatic. Got a "warning" from a guy on the Tech Union Board saying photos weren't allowed (it WAS on the tickets, I was a "rebel" back in those days), but then he winked, said "But I didn't see anything", and walked off.

The Cleveland show was on January 14, 1967. The opening act was the Candy Store Prophets. so, possibly the Apollas performed.

Mar 24, 2022

The concert I mentioned would been in 1966.

I saw the Monkees in Cleveland OH, and was in the TV camera shot on the news at 11 PM that night in the crowd. This concert isn't listed. I was hoping to find both the date and the opening bands.
