The Part Five began as the next stop for guitarist and singer Gary Pyskacek and drummer Chris Brantley from the Pedal Steel Transmission. The two have been playing together since a stint in the Stadel Family Reunion (of Champaign, IL birth) in the mid-nineties. Given a free practice space (still covered in hair from the previous tenant, a barber) by a benefactor, with the only catch being they eventually play a show later that year. The duo would thrash and flay minimalist tribal grooves...
