The Payroll Union is an Americana rock based in Sheffield. Influenced by Bob Dylan, The Who, The Walkmen and Neil Young, the band creates songs based on the history of 19th century USA. With 2 EPs under their belt (Underfed & Underpaid, Your Obedient Servant) and an album (The Mule and The Elephant), the band have made their mark on the burgeoning Americana scene in the United Kingdom.
