The Sherwoods Concert History

The Sherwoods were a collegiate cappella group at Cornell University. Originally a subset of the Cornell University Glee Club, the Sherwoods were formed in 1956 in the wake of Cayuga's Waiters' departure from the Glee Club to become an independent group. The Sherwoods only lasted within the Glee Club for two years, at which point they were exiled, and The Hangovers were formed as the new subset. The Sherwoods continued as an independent undergraduate a cappella group until 1973, when they stopped adding new members.
