The Taken's 2011 Concert History

In 1998 Doug Manteuffel and Mark Lafferty were playing and writing songs in the local Toledo band “The Wake”. At the end of that summer, Mark relocated to Louisiana for school, then work. Fast forward to 2009, Doug and Mark got back in touch and decided to write up some new songs and put finishing touches to previous works from their days in The Wake. In late 2009, The Taken was born. The Taken are not one specific genre that you can put your finger on.
