The Toys / New Toys Concert History

The Toys were an alternative pop-punk band based in Buffalo, New York. The group was formed in 1979. In 1982, as the popularity of punk began to wane, The Toys rebranded itself as "The New Toys" and released the album "Say It", which embraced a more mature, power-punk new wave sound. The New Toys broke up two years later. The Toys / New Toys reunited for several shows between 1988 and '89. In 2011, the group reformed a second time. The band released a new album "Made in Buffalo" the following year. After touring in support of the album, The Toys / New Toys disbanded a third time in 2014.
