The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie's 2000 Concert History

In 1963, Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan co-founded The Turtles. After the band broke up in 1970, the two were prohibited from using the band name "The Turtles" or even their real names when performing as a result of their contract with White Whale Records label. To overcome this legal hurdle, the two continued as the comedy-rock duo "Flo & Eddie". In 1983, the two regained legal rights to perform using the name "The Turtles" and launched the first "Happy Together Tour" where the band performed as "The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie". In 2010, the event launched as an annual event and featured "The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie" as a headliner until 2018 when Kaylan (Eddie) retired from touring. From 2018, onward, the band performed as just "The Turtles".
