The Turtles's 1975 Concert History

The Turtles was an experimental pop-rock band formed in 1963 as "The Nightriders". That year, the band changed names that year to "The Crossfires", and then to the "The Tyrtles", which became "The Turtles" in 1965. Between 1965 and 1969, The Turtles released five studio albums and several record-charting singles including the number-one hit single "Happy Together". In 1970, The Turtles broke up. Founding members Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan continued on as a comedy-music duo "Flo & Eddie". In 1983, the two gained legal rights to use the name "The Turtles" and began touring as "The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie". After Kaylan (Eddie) retired from touring in 2018, "The Turtles" began headlining the annual "Happy Together Tour" in lieu of "The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie".
