The Vels Concert History

The Vels were a new wave/synthpop band comprised of Alice DeSoto, Charles Hanson, and Chris Larkin from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were a prominent fixture on the Philadelphia music scene in the early 1980s. They were signed by Mercury Records. The single, "Look My Way", peaked at No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts in 1985. While "Hieroglyphics" reached No. 30 and "Look My Way" peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs.
