The Young Rascals's 1970 Concert History

In 1965, The Young Rascals formed as a soul band in New Jersey, but by 1968, the band dumped the "Young" and became "The Rascals." During its time as "The Young Rascals," the band released three albums, including "Groovin'," which reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart and became the band's highest-ranking studio album. Additionally, the band released six singles between 1966 and 1968. Two of these, "Good Lovin' / Mustang Sally" (1966) and "Groovin' / Sueño", reached the top spot on both the US and Canadian singles charts. Despite being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as The Rascals, the band experienced the greatest commercial success as "The Young Rascals."
