Thomas Maos's 2016 Concert History

on thomas maos' record "chill in drill out" he combines abstract and tonal elements. his work is influenced by the sound aesthetics of noise, rock, minimal music and contemporary classical music. although he is educated as a "normal guitarist", the electric guitar is only a medium to express his musical ideas. the electric guitar, as everybody knows, has endless sound variations. so, for thomas maos' recordings, he restricts himself to a few materials in every piece, and concentrates on them while elaborating the composition.
