Toadeater was a German Post-black metal band from Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, active from 2018 to 2024. Their sound combined abrasive black metal riffs, harsh vocals and relentless drumming with elements of crust punk, hardcore and post-metal. Characterised by dynamic songwriting, dissonant melodies and shifts between ferocious aggression and slower, atmospheric passages, their music balanced raw intensity with a bleak and introspective atmosphere.
