In 1992, Television reformed and released its third and final studio album. Over the next three decades, Verlaine continued touring with the band. In 2006, he released his final solo album "Songs and Other Things." He passed away at the age of 73 on January 28, 2023. Throughout his life, he also collaborated with many other musicians, including his one-time romantic partner and fellow New York punk legend Patti Smith.
