The source of inspiration for the band Transkapela is Jewish music culture of the area of the Carpathians from the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. It blends varied music plots shaped by many ethnic groups ( Jews, Poles, Ukrainians, Slovaks, Armenians, Gypsies, Germans, Hungarians) within the space of centuries.
