Treble lifter was born on the icy waters of the northern Atlantic. Hendrik was a deckhand on the Dutch fishing boat “Bliksem.” While at port in the Icelandic town of Hafnarfjörður Hendrik met a local percussionist named Mike. Hendrik abandonded his duties on the Bliksem and began to play songs with Mike full time with dreams of one day reaching America.
