Trevor Noah's 2015 Concert History

Trevor Noah is a comedian originally from South Africa. Born in 1984, he experienced the realities of apartheid as a youth and has spent much of his career satirizing political and social realities. Noah began his career in the 2000s hosting South African television programs, including Run the Adventure, The Gobooza, and The Amazing Date. In the early 2010s, Noah shifted away from hosting to focus on stand-up comedy. In 2011, he relocated to the United States. The following year he appeared on the Tonight Show and the next year on the Late Show with David Letterman. He was the first South African stand-up comedian to appear in both. Near the end of 2014, he became a contributor on The Daily Show, taking over as host on September 28, 2015, following Jon Stewart's retirement. On December 8, 2022, Noah retired from The Daily Show, citing a desire to return to international touring.
