In 1975, Triumph was formed by Gil Moore, Mark Levine, Fred Keeler, and Peter Young as a progressive rock band capable of blending hard rock with classical instrumentation. Young and Keeler left soon thereafter and were replaced by Rik Emmett. The classic trio of Moore, Levine, and Emmett continued until 1988 when Emmett left. Moore and Levine carried on as a duo until 1992 when Phil X joined. Unfortunately, the new trio was short-lived, and the band broke up in 1993. Triumph has reunited several times since: first, on June 7, 1988 at the Swden Rock Festival, then on, July 11, 2008 at the Rocklahoma music festival, and lastly on November 16, 2019 at the Metalworks Studios in Mississauga, Ontario for the documentary "Triumph: Rock 'n Roll Machine." In December 2025, Triumph announced its first tour in 30 years to commence in the fall of 2026.
These are photos from concerts where Triumph played, so they may be of other bands that played the concert as well.
