Urgehal is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Hønefoss in 1992 by lead guitarist and vocalist Trond Bråthen, known by the stage name Trondr Nefas, and rhythm guitarist Enzifer. Prior to disbanding in 2016, the group released seven full-length albums, four extended plays, and two demos. Urgehal reformed in 2022 as a tribute to past members.
