Sacramento, California glam rockers VAMP LE STAT actually formed in 1991 but it wasn’t until ‘92 that VLS really came together. With the lineup of Jimmy Tuttle on lead vocals and guitar, drummer Bret Blackburn, Brian Boozer on bass, keyboards and vocals, and guitarist Jeff Jones (formerly of St. Elmo’s Fire) VAMP LE STAT began to make it’s presence felt in a big way all over the western United States. At the time they seemed mysterious which added a certain mystique to the band right from the start.
