Van Der Graaf Generator's 1968 Concert History

Van der Graaf Generator are an English progressive rock band formed in 1967 in Manchester by Peter Hammill and Chris Judge Smith. They were the first act signed by Charisma Records. Although the band did not achieve significant commercial success in the United Kingdom, they became popular in Italy during the 1970s. The band reformed in 2005 and continue to be active with a line-up of Hammill, organist Hugh Banton, and drummer Guy Evans.

There is a concert missing from this list. On 9 January 1971, Van Der Graaf Generator played at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Also on the bill were Lindisfarne and Arc and Bell. I know this as I was there. I’ve also cross checked with Microsoft CoPilot who has confirmed the date and place.
