Vassar Clements's 1999 Concert History

Vassar Clements was a world class fiddler, originally from Florida, who got a break playing with Bill Monroe. He claims to have not owned a fiddle until he got the job with Monroe, and lost the first one he bought while taking the bus to Nashville. He went on to work with artists including The Byrds, Jerry Garcia, and most famously the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on the classic Will The Circle Be Unbroken album.
