Wally Shoup Concert History

Wally Shoup is an alto sax player currently living in Seattle, best known for his work in improvised music and free jazz. Shoup is one of the few American representatives of the musical praxis that dropped the jazz part of the “free jazz” equation and started improvising without idiomatic parameters. He's worked with many prominent figures in the field, including Nels Cline, Dennis Rea, Jessica Lurie and many more.
