What lies beneath the tide was created by Tim Lucier, and Taylor Field. As time past guitarist John Damico, joined the band, bringing new ideas and writing style. With the three writing styles heavier, more complexed music was formed. Joining the band in mid 2008, bass player John Quinn joined in at an ideal time. What lies beneath the tide was writing their EP recorded at Echo Room Studios. After recording this record, and sending press kits to lables, WLBTT caught the eye of Kevin Gales, owner of Torque Records.
