"A fairly new local metal quintet, Witchbanger borders on supergroup status, at least for people to whom the names Wickerman, Buried at Sea, and Unfortunaut mean anything (and you should be one of those people). The demo they recorded in June burbles and roars with something approximating giddy joy, as if they're just about to pull the silly pained-looking guitar-face masks off all the ax-wielding metalheads in the world and admit that everyone playing stoner doom is having the time of his fucking life.
