In 2009 stellen Arjen de Bock (The Black Atlantic) en Viktor van Woudenberg (Bettie Serveert, Me & Stupid) zich bij wijze van praktisch onderzoek de opdracht iedere week samen te komen, met een blanco papier te beginnen en niet te stoppen voor het liedje klaar is. In Baambrugge, waar The Beach Boys hun album Holland opnamen, dopen ze een verbouwde hooischuur om tot Wooden Saint Studio, waar debuutalbum I know why your house is on fire uiteindelijk in zijn geheel zal worden opgenomen.
