Yeh Deadlies are an oddball troupe plying mashed-up rockabilly-inflected pop. The band is comprised of ex-members of (retards), B.S.O.B.K., and too many other acts to mention. Drawing on influences from the Lemonheads to Link Wray, Voided by Ponces to the Magnetic Fields, it is a fugitive sound, as familiar as it is peculiar. Their debut the ghost chipper ep was released stateside last year and they are currently working on a follow-up. Live dates with The Dudley Corporation...
