Zikr is an experimental rock band based out of Chicago, IL. By combining stunning studio magic into their recording and free-from improvisation to their live sets, Zikr has set the bar high for modern music. Drawing influence from the Smashing Pumpkins, Jimi Hendrix, Polvo, Mission of Burma and everywhere in between; they have managed to hone a sound that envelops audiences in ambient soundscapes, soothing rhythms, ethereal voices, and face-searing leads.
