ZinForge began as an evolution to Brian.Forge's musical endeavors. The project began in 2000 under a different name and was focused on creating fun dance tracks, then later in to EBM. In 2001, the project began taking a much more harsh and rhythmic direction, relying on hard beats and distortion. At this point, a name change as needed as the music was no longer anywhere near where Brian.Forge began. ZinForge was born and the beats got heavier. ZinForge rolled along very slowly as Brian.
