zzzounds (formerly Zounds) is the solo project of Australian musician Dave Drayton, formerly of Euripides Berserker, Between the Devil and the Deep and Milhouse. Based out of Sydney, New South Wales, the project began in 2009, in which Drayton recorded and released a five-song EP. More material has surfaced since, including a split seven-inch release with Nick Van Breda. The change from Zounds to zzzounds was made in 2012 in order to distinguish the project from other similarly-titled acts.
