1) Somerset is a rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who takes their influence from like-minded Midwestern indie / emo rock / post-hardcore outfits such as Hey Mercedes and Braid. The band formed in September 2002 and self-released their debut EP shortly after, 2003's This Thought Process. A September 2003 recording studio session eventually resulted in a three-song EP put out on the Midwest-based I Ate Her Records. The band signed with fledgling label Punknews Records in 2005...
